Mecanil XG220 G2

Mecanil XG220 G2 Grapple Saw is designed for efficient energy wood felling.  The XG220 utilising a scissor motion cutting unit for smaller diameter timber and still has bar and chain for larger diameter timber.  With its control system you have accurate movements; eg. allowing the operator to use the tilt function to angle the unit to the correct degree to aid fast and easy working and increase productivity.  The saw and cutting units locations mean that the grapple can be used in the traditional sense and handle materials without hindrance.

Control system options:

• 2 hydraulic lines (pressure/tank) and cable control
• 2 hydraulic lines (pressure/tank) and radio - control

Suitable base machines:

• Forwarders
• Harvesters
• Tractors
• Excavators (free hanging)
• Please consult your Mecanil dealer if considering intallation onto another base machine
