HM14-860KL Truck Chipper

HM 14 - 860 KL is the largest lorry mounted chipper in the Heizohack range.  The large top infeed roller (⌀ 800 mm) ensures safe reliable processing even with bulky  material.  Heizohack chippers are equipped with a low drag drum chipper allowing the possibility of low drive performance and reduced fuel consumption.  The HM 14 - 860 KL is equiped with a  Palfinger Epsilon S101F 101 crane: max reach 10.1 m, slew torque 44 KNm and a working angle of 385°.

It is mounted to a Mercedes - Benz Arocs 6x6 (6 wheel drive) chassis producing 530 hp.  Everything is controlled from inside the lorry making use of the Stream Space - cabine, giving excellent visibilty during operations.  Power to the chipper comes from the Arocs gearbox - independent PTO (NMV) directly from the engine.  Thanks to its 6x6 drive, the three - axle this Heizohack - Chipper is very well suited for use in even the most difficult terrain.
